RE:RE:2021 Fourth Quarter and Year-End Unaudited Financial Results

RE:RE:2021 Fourth Quarter and Year-End Unaudited Financial ResultsThe day rates were mixed. I wonder if there's some currency play in this?

In Canada, average revenue per utilization day for contract drilling rigs for the quarter was $22,948 compared with $21,670 in 2020. The higher average revenue per utilization day in 2021 was primarily due to higher average day rates.

In the U.S., revenue per utilization day in the fourth quarter of 2021 decreased to US$21,976 compared with US$25,577 in 2020. The decrease was primarily the result of lower revenue from idle but contracted rigs and lower fleet average day rates.

We realized fourth quarter revenue from international contract drilling of US$29 million in 2021, as compared with US$31 million in 2020. The lower revenue in 2021 was primarily due to lower day rates. The average revenue per utilization day for the quarter was US$52,069, 6% lower than in the fourth quarter of 2020.
