Latest US NGas inventories

Latest US NGas inventoriesExtract from EIA report :
"Working gas in storage was 2,917 Bcf as of Friday, January 13, 2017, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 243 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 431 Bcf less than last year at this time and 77 Bcf below the five-year average of 2,994 Bcf."

Personal observation:
These storage numbers represent quite a change compared to the picture on Nov. 11, 2016 where gas in stirage was 4047 Bcf compared to 3996 at the same time in previous year(2015)    i.e. Reduction in gas storage over the past 2 month period during this winter season,  was 1130 Bcf compared to 648 Bcf in the previous similar period season..... (4047 - 2917)  vs. (3996 - 3348)

Could bode well for NGas commodity pricing though obviously dependent on weather temperatures, drilling activity,  energy source switching, general economic activity, etc., etc..

Peace,
Good Decision-making to all,
ElJ
