RE:Tax loss selling, yes, but also AECO prices

RE:Tax loss selling, yes, but also AECO prices
This might be a stupid question (plus describes my lack of knowledge of this industry) but what is the difference between:

Aeco 12 Month Strip (NGX)

and

Aeco Calendar Strip 2018 (NGX)

Is this is Canadian equivalent of Henry Hub natural gas futures?

Wow, the 12 months strip pricing is down from 2.93 a year ago to 1.90 today.  Why such a plunge?  Too much production?  Trying to understand what is happening with Canadian prices.  I normally trade only US stocks, options, etfs.. but did load up on peyto and bonavista for a hold at much higher prices (clearly without understanding their market properly).

Henry Hub spot and December futures are flat compared to the same time last year. Aeco has clearly been a disaster in comparison.  Having said that, most US nat gas producers are also down quite a bit from Nov/Dec 2016.
