Fareed/CNN/WashPost on natgas

Fareed/CNN/WashPost on natgasFareed Zacharia out this weekend advocating (for a 2nd time) that we immediately replace the world's worst polluting coal plants with natgas.  He points out 5 percent of these plants generate 73 percent of all emissions (in the electricity-generation sector), and that we have the technology to reduce methane emissions.

Not the first to recognize this opportunity, but nice to see Fareed (who considers himself a centrist) and CNN/WashPost (which most put on the left side of the Big Business Party) advocate natgas in order to have a realistic chance of addressing climate change, acidification of the oceans, mercury in fish,,,,

WashPost editorial

CNN segment (has commercial)
