Below is the comparison as per BOE reports
What may be missing in any analysis is the tremendous upkick that TOU achieves by paying for half of the purchase using their inflated value shares. That has been made possible by their low net debt levels.
It always struck me that PEY would be better off by reducing dividend rates rather than issuing new equity. With those 2 considerations in mind , I believe TOU may have done better on a short term basis

Yet ,to me , both deals are clearly winners
