Speaking of utility and oil companies eyeing geothermal....I went back to dig up this Engridge article.... Pretty vague. Anyways, pity the geothermal resources are so far from central Canada. I gather in BC hydro provides a lot of cheap power.... Enbrige is a pipeline company though with deep pockets who knows all about sending energy to the US...
Ram is not mentioned, but I gather we have concessions or some rights in the best BC areas for geothermal.

Long involved in wind energy, Enbridge is spreading its wings to take in solar and geothermal technologies

Calgary-basedpipeline and power giant Enbridge Inc. has already invested heavily insuch renewable electricity areas as wind and solar; now it has turnedits attention to geothermal energy projects in British Columbia andelsewhere in North America.
"We believe there is meaningfulpotential for geothermal energy production in Canada," Chuck Szmurlo,vice-president of alternative and emerging technology with Canada´slargest pipeline company, told Oilweek.
"It´s on our radar screen.Canada is still in its infancy [in terms of naturally occurringgeothermal power]. But there is an attractive resource in B.C."
