In my opinion there's a few aspects of this. Aside from the general momentum in renewables slowing down and PIF being generally one of the less favored among the sector for being SA focused, I think the market interpreted the raising of equity as a sign of imminent M&A activity whereas the call made it clear they are still exploring options and any acquisition is probably 3-6 months away. That should matter for any of us long term holders but I could see the momentum swing traders running away right now
I think that Polaris is being penalized because the market is waiting to see what they'll do with the money.
