Seattle we agree. Vulcan in my opinion is doing their shareholders a disservice. The executive discussion to withdraw is perhaps technically a position of what was assessed as fair, and certainly the reported reasons, however, surely like with anything in the lines of business, an offer was made and someone opposed the offer with a counter, certainly you must have expected others, or suspected others may show some interest? With no room to counter, remains illogical and perhaps a waste to have pursued in the first place. If you blew your maximum, then you need to be more creative. Individuals in California purchase homes worth more that the difference in these offers. For Vulcan, Polaris logically and logistically is a match made for the future. This purchase would bring the western seaboard from Alaska to California to the mass of your markets, with no competition in this region (North western seaboard) capable of this level of production. Polaris has done all the footwork and created a framework to expand in supply and distribution rapidly.
