Buy Nat Gas in the Ground

Buy Nat Gas in the Ground
Back in 1999 -2000 one of the better decisions I made was to buy Silver Standard Resources (SSRI) for about $3/share.

They were not mining any Silver at the time. They thought it was silly to be mining silver and sell it at the depressed price  at the time (about $5/oz) so they instead purchased properties with Silver in the ground and awaited the day when the Silver price justified mining it. That proved to be a good plan, as the stock price is now about $33/share.

I believe that the same analysis now applies to Natural Gas and that PMT is a good stock to ride Natural Gas to it's proper price. Can you suggest a better alternative - a smaller company with lots and lots of gas in the ground?
