RE: RE: FrackingIn other words a single well can drain a circular area 3k in diameter. That is what I was asking. So in a productive area they will want to be drilling wells every 3k. That will certainly change the landscape - especially with the attendant roads and pipelines. Bad visuals. NIMBY will have an effect.

By way of comparison, how large an area does one of PMT's conventional wells in Alberta drain? And they are pretty much in the boondocks, right?
