RE: Some people think SELL

RE: Some people think SELL

The AMP Market Letter
Apr. 9/08

This is only one more thought to this subject, not an advice to buy or sell .

PS. with my 15k PNP holding,at $9.86 averaged, of course I'm all but trustworthy to make a buy or sell recommendation.LOL.

(…)

“There are two widely followed companies that fund junior resource companies.
I do not recommend either :
Pinetree Capital ( PNP) $3.00 - which I sold at 3 times that price last year OR Longview ( LV) which has declined fro $2.00 to be a penny stock itself.

The idea is great - these companies finance juniors and take massive amounts of shares for pennies.
In a frothy market - like uranium was last year - Pinetree had a dozen uranium juniors and when Gold and Uranium exploration was the hot sector - having dozens of juniors meant a " mutual fund " of c high potential.
Today - no one will fund a junior because they happen to own land next to a company that is drilling.
Someday the market mania in juniors will return - but today this is the very definition of dead money. Sell and move on.”
