RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Like it BUT!

Well said Power1. I would only add that the word investment should not be a part of the vocabulary when discussing stocks like PNP, or other micro-cap stocks... This is a gamble, or high 'risk capital' as you called it, but it's never investing.

One quick point about using an ETF as a vehicle in investing in the Venture: It's not even remotely the same.

Look at any venture Exchange ETF and you'll see that they replicate the top 30 most liquid stocks on  the Exchange. They DO NOT invest in other companies, and DO NOT go outside of the Venture Exchange. They HAVE to sell and buy as the Exchange stocks get added and removed. Pinetree, in contast, invests in whatever investment vehicle it chooses, and not only in stocks of companies in various exchanges, but in options, warrants, and IPOs. There is no Venture Exchange that mirrors what PNP does. That is also why PNP gravely under-performs when the Venture is going down, and way over-performs when it's going up.

I'm not saying that a Venture ETF isnt a good investment, it may be better than hot cakes, but it does not do what PNP 'can' do.

Cheers
