Hidden Gem in the PNP Portfolio

Hidden Gem in the PNP Portfolio In my humble opinion Leonovus (LTV-TSXv) is the hidden gem in the PNP portfolio for 2015. They have a large position of 10M shares and warrants to boot. I dont know alot about the other companies in the portfolio but I know this one well. Far and away the most scalable technology I have ever seen and if they can execute on just a small portion of it we will see a game changer take place.

Normally I would not be as excited about the company if it were filled with a bunch of no names with a great idea but the management team from Leonovus has a HUGE history in Silicon Valley.

Gordon Campbell is the CEO and is widely considered the Father of the Fabless semi conductor and co-developer of the world's first Ethernet chip. He has served on the boards of Palm, Bell Micro and 3COM and helped co found Chips and Tecnologies which was acquired by Intel in the 80's and Seek Technologies also acquired by Intel in the 1980s. He helped fund and co found 3DFX (any tech savvy investor will remeber this one - acquired by Nvidia) and Portal Player which were both traded on the Nasdaq. He was also the Chairman of Cobalt Networks when it was acquired by SUN in the year 2000 for almost $2B.

The chief architect is Dan Willis, a former Nortel Engineer who started his own company called Adscape Media in the year 2000 and was then Acquired by Google in 2007.

Darlene Kindler is the VP marketing and she has held positions with Nintendo, Sega and Sony America.

Gary Martin also graces the board with his presence and experience. His first role in technology was in the late 70's early 80's as the first controler for none other then APPLE Computer.

The technology itself is mind blowing when one considers the ever growing need for compuing power and storage around the world. The company has figured out how to creat distributed "virtual" Data centers at a fraction of the cost it would take to set up a real data center and arguably these data centers are more secure as no whole file is stored in any one place at any time. The files are chopped up and ditributed amongst many different servers all over a geographic area in Hotels or condos or residences or even businesses (NOrth America in this case) and the file is rebuilt instantly at the click of a button in real time (they just announnced their real time storage solution called Vault). I urge everyone to visit their website www.leonovus.com and take the time to learn about what they are about to do.

Then you may understand why I truly beleive that this one is the HIDDEN GEM in the PNP portfolio.

Happy new Year and all the best in 2015
