UpdateAbout four hours or so ago, Reuters updated their report regarding the goings on in POU's neck of the woods.
Apparently, LNG Canada is a major player in the area. They are exporting 14 million tons of LNG annually. I have no idea what they have for remaining resources.
Physical construction on the Coastal Gas Link was completed two days ago. Testing etc. remains.
The article also mentioned interest being shown shown in seven of ARC's peers (Names of the companies were not disclosed).
The sharks mentioned previously were not Canada sharks, they are U.S based sharks, and their gas resources are being depleted. By the way, does Canada even have sharks.
The new gas line begins near to where POU operates and has significant land holdings.
I would assume that Paramount would be provided access to the Gas Link. The pipeline ends at an LNG Canada facility.
No doubt that there is a lot of LNG available throughout the world. Hence, the probable reason for the low price.
LNG is however the cleanest shirt in the bag of dirty laundry.
