03 V 01The year 2001 holds the record for the most injection to NG storage in a single season (2516 Bcf). That is why I decided to keep a running comparison of 2003 Versus 2001. All figures come from the EIA historical data. https://tonto.eia.doe.gov/oog/info/ngs/ngshistory.xls This Thursday the build was 70 Bcf compared with 76 Bcf in 2001. 29 August 2003: 1709 Bcf (Total NG in storage 2389 Bcf) 31 August 2001: 1838 Bcf (Total NG in storage 2576 Bcf)

03 V 01: So far injections to storage since April 1 are running 129 Bcf behind 2001 pace.
