03 V 01

03 V 01The year 2001 holds the record for the most injection to NG storage in a single season (2516 Bcf). That is why I decided to keep a running comparison of 2003 Versus 2001. All figures come from the EIA historical data. https://tonto.eia.doe.gov/oog/info/ngs/ngshistory.xls This Thursday the build was 75 Bcf compared with 73 Bcf in 2001. 3 October 2003: 2183 Bcf (Total NG in storage 2863 Bcf) 5 October 2001: 2260 Bcf (Total NG in storage 2998 Bcf)

03 V 01: So far injections to storage since April 1 are running 77 Bcf behind 2001 pace.
