DuvernayWhat is it? It is a new kid on the block. A new oil and gas company that is about to become public. What attracted me to it is the man at the top. Mickael Rose is the president and CEO of the company. He used to run Berkley Petroleum until it was taken over by Anadarko. Anadarko inherited some great assets from Berkley not the least of which is the Adsett field in NE BC with 130 Bcf of reserves. I was a shareholder in Berkley and made a nice profit when it was taken over.
What does this have to do with POU? Michael Rose is related to the Riddell's by marriage. In fact the Riddell's are early investors in Duvernay.
Duvernay seems like a good bet, they have a prospectus for a new issue of 5 million shares on https://sedar.com/search/search_form_pc_en.htm
Currently they have about 30 mm shares, the issue is a bit on the expensive side IMHO since I calculate the NAV to be in the $7-8.
The company, however, does have some impressive growth prospects, if you are interested please do your own DD. I am not recommending these shares.
