POU has strong tail winds.....
Paramount has a definate advantages to other energy companies.
Their major shareholders are actually the management of the company and highly invested in creating value for the share holders.
Over the last two years day rates prices have increase 73% for drilling, so the positive cost advantage and appreciation in their 8 rig drilling fleet should not be ignored. Paramount can drill more wells, cheaper, and they can do it confidentially because all the driller work for them and Benifit when Paramount Benifits. How does POU keep things so quiet, they own the supply chain.
Oil Prices, "futures" are 80 dollars WTI for more than a year going forward. If you hedge out your crude over the next year on a montly basis it would average 85 WTI.
POU has a 500 million dollar investment in Nuvista which is expect to explode in term of FCF and production. We are entering an oil boom and that NVA investment will likely go to 18 dollars, and could be worth 750 million dollars. NVA has 50% upside built into the stock.
Zero debt, and no Capex limitation, really POU with more than 700 million of securities on the balance sheet have all the capital they may need if they wanted to do an investment.
How about this a new Clear Water Oil company with zero debt, one of the largest land bases and is 60% owned by POU shareholders and the 40% sold in an IPO to capitalize the debt free company.
Expect some exciting things out of POU, JR has promised to make it interesting.
IMHO
