You are right up there with Rosehill as one of my favorite posters on this site. That said I don't think Dave is aiming for a spring buyout. This project has enormous upside and I believe Dave wants to play this out much longer than Borden.
Given the current state of cheap money everywhere on the planet and no reason to believe that issue is going to change anytime soon I strongly believe gold will have it's day. It is taking much longer than I would have thought, but when it comes I can easily envision $2,500 an ounce. What would that do to the profitablity of majors? Probe could have over 6M ounces a year from now. What would a major swimming in cash pay for us then?
To me, the risk remains being bought out too soon and settling for a good return when we have the chance to make a ton of money by allowing Dave to quietly to prove what is in the ground before someone steals the company.
