Goldcorp and Newmont

Goldcorp and Newmont

Bad decisions have been made before ... chances are good Newmont is selling to buy something they want.

When a mine is purchased I am not sure if most of the Mobile equipment is moved or anything is dissassembled and taken to a "new" mine or lay down yard.

As for the previous PRB Borden sale. Goldcorp juiced there dividend then their stock rose up.  The canceled the dividend  bought Borden PRB... and there stock fell from around 30 bucks to a low of around 12.80.

So if you bought PRB prior to the buyout and held on for a year .... you actually lost money.

I happened to prefer cash at the time.  I did buy AEG on a whim right after the buyout was announced = to 0.90 PRB 3 for 1.

I sure AEM steps up.   Eldorado will regret not purchasing when there foreign assets don't perform.

Whatever happens will be quick ...!
