PIMCO Dynamic Income Opportunities Fund (the Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to seek current income as a primary objective and capital appreciation as a secondary objective. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by utilizing a dynamic asset allocation strategy among multiple fixed income sectors in the global credit markets, including corporate debt, mortgage-related and other asset-backed instruments, government and sovereign debt, taxable municipal bonds, and other fixed-, variable- and floating-rate income-producing securities of United States and foreign issuers, including emerging market issuers. RE: settlementI agree, not much of a victory.  But it would seem that in the big picture there is a reprieve from JLL's doing any more takeover shenanigans.  In that time financial conditions should improve and Patheon can put it's stock price closer to where it should be.  Then if JLL wants to do a takeover they can offer the shareholders fair value for the deal.
