"African Queen" sometime; especially that scene near the end where Bogie has been slogging the boat through the bullrushes all night and finally collapses, exhausted. Then the camera pulls back and we see the boat is about 50 yards from the open water of the lake they've been trying to reach. That's where PLG is right now... 50 yards from the open water.
