Hi Guys,
192,000 shares were sold to downtick the close, the trades were made by 5 different houses during the last 56 seconds of trading today...
It is most probably the work of a short syndicate trying to make money on the HPQ stock.
My guess is that the shorts tried to make us close flat or down for the day, but they are getting sloppy...
Why? 2 reasons..
Reason 1, keeping a large open short poisition in HPQ cost money and every penny higher for the stock, the more money the syndicate must ponny up to keep the short open..
Reason 2, Mind game on nervous investors... There will be many post, most of then from disinformation agent, claiming that HPQ being up only 1 cent with this type of news and volume is not a positive sign...
So let stay alert and remember that on Friday morning we will have the short activity report..
PS, I did make an offical complain to IIROC today about this...
