RE:RE:RE:Question on financials reporting Thank you for your responses. I realize the accounting side of things, and that they are permitted to choose to report in this manner, I'm just not sure whether it's helpful to the company. It looks great when the HPQ share price is increasing. And in terms of reporting as a separate line item, yes that is noted, however when publishing their earnings reports the headline is:
"PyroGenesis Announces 2020 Results: Revenues $17.8MM; Net Earnings and Comprehensive Income $41.8MM Gross Margin 58%; Current Backlog $30MM; Basic EPS $0.28".
I get it that firms want to focus on the positives in their earnings headlines but then I see folks celebrating the earnings report and referencing the eps and "revenues" which for the most part aren't revenues....it is just a change in value of a share price of another company. For novice investors I wonder if they really understand.
anyway just trying to due some due diligence on this company and was hoping there was some other reason they chose to report as mark to market.
