RE:RE:1 MW or 3 MW Torch?

RE:RE:1 MW or 3 MW Torch? Please excuse me if this is a totally daft question, I have no technical knowledge. Is it mechanically feasible for a client to purchase a mixture on 1MW and 3 MW units in one plant?

BIGMOE wrote: I have few concerns about the 1 MW or 3 MW Torch comparison:

Using 1MW will cost more in capital and maintenance over the life time of the torch.  It will have higher reliability and the electrical infrastructure will be much lower cost, but will be less efficient.

Using 3 MW will cost less in capital and maintenance over the life time of the torch.  It will have 30% cost saving both capital and maintenance.  It will have higher efficiency but the electrical infrastructure will be at higher cost.

Client A need to decide or cost analysis between 30% cost saving or reliability will be important.

Reliability is very important because during maintenance, you need to remove torch from service, removing 1MW for maintenance will have no impact on the burner.  However, 3MW torch is out of service, that may impact the burner.  Well, I assume that Client A will review both advantage or disadvantage between 1 MW or 3 MW Torch.
