Finally...maybe this forum will become focused and use again
When i was a kid, i remember one teacher in particular who had a very effective technique for discipline. When we clowned around in class, he didn't react. He didn't get distracted or emotional. Instead he calmly walked up to the top right corner of the chalkboard and slowly wrote down our names for everyone to see, and then he continue his class. You could hear a pin drop. No eye contact, calm and stoic. We knew we were in deep doodoo after class, the jig was up and we'd shut up or else he added what seemed like an endless supply of asterixes next to our names and punishment doubled with each asterix.
