@Sabbath As per Nov.8 News Release; "The 72-hour test demonstrated that the system could operate under vacuum at a high temperature and then to maintain an inert state in the reactor, also that we are able to produce the key production parameters of Silicon. As a result, we are now ready to initiate the production of silicon by carbothermic reduction of quartz." As per Nov.23 News Release; "The Pilot Plant Has Started To Process Silicon Material. The goal of the QRR Pilot plant program now is to attain a point where the system can be operated 24/7. The aim of the first process improvement test is to CONFIRM that the GEN3 QRR CAN generate the carbothermic reaction needed to produce Silicon. Once the test is completed, the Pilot Plant will be cooled down to allow for a visual inspection. This inspection includes examining all important components of the reactor and the collection of wear and tear data. Once inspection is completed, and all systems are given a “pass”; the Pilot Plant will then be prepared for the next series of tests.". Traditionally it takes 6-8 hours to process a 1 ton batch of silicon. PYR has not stated how long they will run the QRR initially, but QRR is capable of producing multiple batches continuously running, meaning if they are doing another 72hr test, we should have at least 10-12 - Si samples by now and cool down for inspection should already have begun. &&& Soon enough it will be operating 24/7 producing multiple batches of Si a Day, providing samples for potential buyers. NONETHELESS BY NOW, the Gen 3 QRR should have produced multiple batches of silicon, semi-continuously, and that makes me beyond excited!!! Looking forward to this week!!!
