From garage to billionaires basically. No Pyrogenesis is not Google and most likely will never be. You don't have to believe in them, their story or their financials but right now they still have a chip and a chair in the game. They might eventually lose it or double up a bunch of times. Nobody here really knows. I think that's why these forums exist, for the thrill seekers out there willing to ride these roller coasters. I'm sure the boring 3% bank dividends don't have active forums like these. I mean they're good to have but you wouldn't talk to your friends about holding so many shares of RBC. I'd have to kick my own behind before admitting to that. You can bet I'd tell them if I won or lost a bunch of money on a high risk play. Now that's a story worth telling the gang. I'm either paying the tab or getting chirped for life. I can dig that.

To each his/her own, as it should be.
Just reading the many posts on this topic and things really took a trip off the topic!
The first post that started this was by what I take to be someone long in the stock that tried to make the comparison of  GOOG to PYR
I think most see this as not a serious conparison

Now the concept of blue chip dividends be small cap high risk plays?

Missed That- and yes seems a thin discussion on many levels

For me small caps are yes a chance for big upside , but also a chance to dissect the company's as there isn't usually analyst coverage and we can improve by a logical, fact based approach including the story l/market yes, but also financials

At the end of the day -the company has to produce revenue, show positive cash. Flow and have enough liquidity /working capital to survive .

Cash is the oxygen a company needs -earn it or dilute, grab it and repeat

PYR IMO is there now- stories are just that-time to execute
IMO -for fun only
