Consensus Is For A News Release Tomorrow!
Based on historical Press Release dates, Thursdays appear to be the day. Don't want to be short heading into tomorrow. Better yet......what happens if we see a PR later today (Hmmmmm). You know good news is coming. Expect a sharp move in share price. I added more today because.......

I added more today as well. The short data is indicating close to 13,000,000 as of July 16. With low volume since then, there is huge potential for large movement up on news. Regardless, whenever a NR comes and whatever it pertains to, this is only the beginning of some very very good things!

Sounds like 13,000,000 cases of skipping homework before putting it all on red against another lil low rev vulture smallcap and just another chart that looks too good to be true. Sometimes you f*ck around. Sometimes you find out.

Could you please post the link that shows that there are 13 000 000 shares short. My broker suggested that the number short is significantly lower than this. TIA Mymoolah2

check the TSX Venture tab and check out the 4th company from the top (ie PYR) #shares short ~3.2 million and short shares value ~$13 million https://shortdata.ca/largest-short-positions/

I may have been wrong about the total shares short. I think the 3.2M is the increase in short position since July1 and $13M is the value of that increase, but the total of shares short may be more. Perhaps ~16 million? top graph of: https://shortdata.ca/stock/PYR.V/ Anyway, you have the link and can figure it out.

This is short VOLUME data....VOLUME...VOLUME VOLUME.....the true short position is under 250,000 shares. Shorting PYR for 10,000 shares and covering is a volume of 10,000...If i do that 10 times, the short volume data is 100,000. that site only keeps track of the shorts placed on that stock, but does not report when it is covered.

I was wondering about that. However, in the top covered shorts list for TSX Venture there is no PYR. Given most of those top-covered-short numbers are mid to low single millions, I would think that PYR would make that list if many of the shorts had covered. Regardless, the stock price is behaving like its ready to vault higher. It should be another good day today.

Thanks! Been a long time lurker on Stockhouse for Investment ideas but never have been so excited about a stock that I joined- until now! I also need to thank all of you longs who have shared your knowledge about this company given how complex it can be to figure out. I almost missed out.
