PYR and HPQ

Do both need to be owned? One stock follows the other so
why bother  buying HPQ if you guys love PYR so much.

Hpq follows pyr's price for now but is very soon going to be standing their own verticals which is why Pyr keeps adding to their position in Hpq even at 50% premium

Yes? They are different companies, although it appears their prices follow the other, at some point they will diverge. In addition, not all HPQ investors are PYR investors....

COme on fdfd12, We all know you are smarter than that.... You do enough due dilligence to know the difference between the companies, and you are most certainly smart enough to know that share price is dictated by auction, not by other comanies shares! Cheers!

I am smart enough to know that 90% of the time they follow. The 5 banks in Canada. Look at their multi year charts and you will see about the same chart.

Of course the 5 big banks have similar charts... They should match the tsx for the most part as they are ubiquitous in this country, and a direct reflection of the economy... HPQ and Pyrogenesis, though partnered, are very different companies. HPQ is a mining company with an amazing technology to convert quartz into nano silicon.... I am an early buyer of both PYR & HPQ. I had previously traded PYR over the past few years.  Then when PYR started rumbling in early spring I bought it and HPQ several times as the s/p increased.   I liked the relationship these companies have and the increased ownership of HPQ by PYR is a real good indicator of good things to come.  My guess is we're going to see some

This in no way is meant to say that Pyrogenesis isn't an incredible investment right now, because it is, but if Pyrogenesis feels that it can get its best return on capital by investing more into HPQ rather than its own shares, then I feel that HPQ likely has something absolutely monumental going on. All of my future monthly investments are likely going straight into HPQ, and that is saying

We should find out how many shares sheldon inwentash has acquired so far Because he talked about 100 bagger so therefore his company will also hold long term.
