Does anybody here seriously think the parties have been negotiating for almost a half a year, for a 1 or 2 torch order. I'm laughing to myself as I write this.

I absolutely agree with you. A contract of that size would be a spot in the ocean for a large mining company. Plus I don't see swapping out to torches as being a big risk. Peter has stated that going from burners to torches is simple and can be done while the furnace operates. Obviously the reverse is true. I'm sure any plant installing torches will keep the burners ready in case there was ...more

I anticipate a complete (50-torch) change-out for one plant because the client will want to see that NOx emissions are acceptable.  Because of the high temperature of plasma, nitrogen oxides will form and Pyrogenesis knows that these have to be mitiagted--especially any nitrous oxide, which is a powerful greenhouse gas.  PYR haven't said how they are addressing this issue but I doubt ...more

Peter did say something (I forget where, maybe agoracom) to the effect that they had the NOx situation in hand.  No specifics but it doesn't sound like something they haven't anticipated.

Exactly. Months of modelling etc. for 2 torches is rediculous.  Some people wait for some negative sentiment to accumulate shares.

[/quote] And Finalizing a Draft contract on 1 to 2 torches vs 50 + torches? If this was a 1 to 2 scenario then this wouldnt even be a talking point - so announcing a Draft Contract that needs some final details worked out = a heckofalotta torches!!!
