Is this concerning for anyone??

the warrants issued through PyroGenesis’ offering is subject to potential acceleration of the expiry date within those 24 months. If the company’s common shares on the TSXV reach a volume weighted average trading price higher than $6.75 for 20 consecutive trading days, PyroGenesis may accelerate the expiry date.

does anyone feel like with this provision that come 2 years from
nowntje stock price might be only somewhere around $6.75??

Thanks

This is not of any concern or correlation that sp will only be $6.75 in 2 years... the bought deal was negotiated by both sides but you know theacceleration clause was stuck in by Peter.  Keep in mind these are only 1/2 Warrant NOT full share Warrant.  Regarldess, I strongly believe $6.75 sp will be eclipsed before year end :) Long and strong PYR!!!!!!!!

You're missing the point. It's specific to the Venture exchange, where time remaining is literally a few days. If anything, this is exciting, as it actually suggests even in the limited time left on the Venture exchange, that they think the share price might go to $6.75.

Also forgot to add... Acceleration of the expiry date means move it forward and shorten the time window during which people can exercise those warrants. Again, a good thing, as: 1/ this means they don't want people buying stocks for super cheap 2 years later when the stock is $50 etc. 2/ it's better to sell warrants sooner rather than later, as a later date can keep a stock price ...more

Funny how he asks the question; you both answer, and yet he doesn't respond. Typical lol Go PYR!

Applies to any exchange Pyr is trading on...Beachbum Provided that if, at any time prior to the expiry date of the Warrants, the volume weighted average trading price of the Common Shares on the TSX Venture Exchange (the “ Exchange ”), or other principal exchange on which the Common Shares are listed, is greater than $6.75 for 20 consecutive trading days, the Company may, within 15 days ...more

Interesting. The quote the original poster quoted from was taken from the news article that appeared on the SH news link, and that one doesn't have the full paragraph from the actual news release. It neglects to include the "or other principal exchange" part. Little discrepancy there. That's even better, because I thought limiiting it to the venture exchange might have been a ...more

Thanks everyone for your comments.  I hope the SP is much higher but it's a little bit of a head scratcher in why that price of the warrants ($6.75) and the 24 month timeframe.  I hope all those warrant holders get their written warning in 30 days that their warrants are set to expire because the SP has a nice run up and this am warrant aspect becOmes a non issue. also a ...more

You're focused on the wrong thing... it's half a warrant, do the math or go invest in a mutual fund, this is not for you. stay safe!

Folks, you need to figure out if you are concerned about the warrants or the acceleration clause. In the end, the warrants are exercisable at the same price, $4.50. A warrant holder could exercise it at $6 and sell right away to pick up a 33 percent profit. With the acceleration clause, the company can get its $4.50 faster. Dilution always sucks but it is usually necessary for something. If you ...more

an EXCELLENT POINT: "If you are jealous of the warrant holders paying $4.50 in the future for those warrants, buy some shares at $4 today...."... well said!...

Daniel: welcome to the PYR board... imho, you are too worried about this recent financing, because in the big scheme of things, this financing, and especially the warrrants, will have minimal impact and will be forgotten... the financing was necessary for the company to uplist to the TSX, and to move ahead with company initiatives... keep in mind that Peter Pascali holds 52% of the shares, ...more

Hi Daniel, You post twice on Pyrogenesis bullboard and both times it was related to warrant. It seems the warrants situation is bothering you in some way. If you are an investor in a company, why would you care about warrants and a little bit dillution. When Pyrogenesis will be on NASDAQ and the contracts will be piling and the cash coming in, who will care about the warrants when the share price ...more
