No need to worry patrickp. For one thing, you don't lose anything until you sell. Hold tight and think long-term. No need to worry, don't focus on the day-to-day stock price fluctuations... check back at Christmastime. Look back at other stocks in history: Amazon, Apple, Shopify, Tesla, etc. These companies all experienced share price "blips"/hiccups. For those that held on ...more

Sorry about the way you feel, but it seems as if you're far too over invested causing you to panic. That's no way to invest & may I also suggest you abstain from this place, it's a cess pool that requires a clear mind. PYR is just fine & frankly has never looked better. The thoughts you have are all speculation, there's no validity nor substance to them RELAX & ...more

I know your frustration. Everyone into stock market go through these up and downs. I have been through it and still going through it..... Remember Yellow Pages back in the days, Sherritt.... These were mid cap back in the days and end up being penny stocks and I lost alot. Right now Iam losing so much in Chorus Aviation too... Well that's stock market.. you can't always win.....

All successful investors learned this the hard way,in fact it's the only way. I assure everyone new here there comes a time when you only really pay attention to 2 things..... The "idea" &  How/if management executes. Over a long enough time horizon, you'll see the patterns develop & how to distinguish noise from signal.

Simple rule. Don't invest what you can't afford to lose. No matter how solid a company appears to be. Unfortunately tough lesson to learn sometimes. As far as PYR goes, get used to the wild swings. It's normal with startups. You have to look at the bigger picture. Where will they be in 3 years, 5 years. This press release was great news IMO as  I have a further outlook. If you ...more

Patrick -  don't get wrapped around the axle on the word " Lease"  -  it means "renting the equipment"  This happens in many area of equipment leasing.   Airlines - most of these companies do not own their planes, they lease them.  Who complains about this? Ships  -  most ships are leased to the companies that need to use ships. ...more

Here's my take on this... I understand the frustration from seeing the stock diminish that much in one day.  I don't think this is a matter of not being able to sell the torches but more to do with recurring revenue. Let's say pyro sold $1.5 billion worth of torches right off the hop. That's great, initial investors that got in early would surely love it watching ...more
