Pyrogenesis Canada Inc > I’m quite pissed myself

I’m quite pissed myself

Why didn’t Peter wait 30minutes till markets closed? That update was not an update for that time. And nobody can argue that as the market took it one way Down! I lost my shares at a terrible price as I looked for the closing action and seen it was plummeting. I had no time to read that update and had to make a terrible choice and dump my shares and save some money.

Now I’m looking this morning and really Fkn upset at myself and also Peter for putting myself and others in that position. Definitely a terrible thing to do on both of us. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

Never thought after buying and cheering along for 6months that this is how Peter would spit out such an important update. I’ve lost a lot of shares from this move. Infact I wouldn’t call it an update as a major point has changed in the way he’s going about marketing these torch’s. Again this should have been halted as a material change.
I’m not sure if I want to buy back in and have to look at so many less shares. Geez I’m upset. Ugh!
Again just no time to digest that news!

And all this after I was having such a good week. I still obviously respect and love Peter and PYR. Infact even after sitting for three or four hours feeling the terrible gut feeling of making a big mistake I took the time and enjoyed Peters response to my first questions on Agoracom. The fighter name one. Yes I’m HOOKED UP on that site. Sigh

exactly, i think the CEO has some job to do regarding communication and execution.. the news release was in a Q and A for whatever reason and it covered very important stuff unknown by shareholders. ... and the bought deal was executed in a SP weakness.... well what do i know. these facts get me worried.

Waxwing, interesting how you blame Peter for YOUR actions. Those of us who have been here longer and have done weeks of DD were not at all concerned. No one made you buy Pyro and no one made you sell Pyro.  I’ve lost a lot on other companies and made A LOT on Pyro, yet never was it anyone’s fault but my own. My account took a big hit yesterday but I couldn’t care less. Yes my average is far ...more

Just don’t understand the timing of release and contents not being material. I’m not the only one. Sure I’m a foolish retailer but not the only one. Point is this hurt many I’m sure for no reason.

I’m also a retail investor, the key though is investor. I’ve bought this for a long term hold. In my books that is years. If it hurt that is only because you sold and your time horizon was 20 min before close.  This is is not at Peter mistake on timing it is your own ispeculating/trading strategy. Own it.  HK

Better to be pissed off than pissed on

I believe that is what Peter has just done, to all of us.

I agree 100 %.  This was an unforced error by Peter and his response is to say he did not think this news release would affect the stock price and if it did to blame anyone who sold for being uninformed. Lets look at the history here.  On Sept 11 the BNN analyst kneecapped shareholders by doing a complete 180 - going from saying on May 29th possible 1.5B (with a "B") contracts ...more

I feel your pain, but the problem is that you guys worry about the day to day fluctuation of the price, it's not a loss until you sell your shares,,,,,either you know what you bought and hold tight and long or you do not know what you bought and sold because of a one day event, or half hour event, anyway I know what I bought and I'm waiting for my pay day so I can join uncle Ron in the ...more

The board constantly warns against weak hands. Why park your money if there is no trust? my personal opinion is that you need to have news to make the news. As we move to the TSX NRs will be painting the picture very nicely. Peter makes news releases as he deems appropriate and as this is non-material news I don't think he's manipulating so much as ensuring people are fully informed so ...more
