Arcbyt, the number one contender IMO, is also from California. It is still more likely, Elon would've spilled it already on twitter if he had thought about plasma torch drilling.

It's definitely Arcbyt. There's been a bunch of DD already that proves that. Not the least of which is PYR's tendency to use language in tunneling NRs lifted almost verbatim from Arcbyt's communications / web site / etc. And of course the Arcbyt job postings in Montreal.

Yes, he said ... from California. The California location is not fortuitous. The basic reason is to protect the power lines and etc.
