Pyr CEO flaming response to soft basher Olderguy1

Check the exhibitors list for this exposition and you won't find PyroGenesis. What a shame to miss a chance to talk to people in the iron and steel industry!

Great answer by Pete on Agoracom.  Very confident and witty that screams confidence:

Dear Olderguy1,

Don’t let it get you down too much.

(just imagine the amazing opportunities we decided to pursue in lieu of this amazing opportunity…mind boggling, eh?)

If you still feel down, I am sure there are pills for your condition… or maybe a nice walk in the sun would help…your choice.

;-)

Peter

I have left long positions out of spite of horrible ceo's. Peter is the real deal. A Ceo who cares about his investors and not just lining his own pocket book. Couldn't be happier to be investing with him.
Comment by lettermen7 on Jan 31, 2021 3:08pm
absolutely Peter is the real deal!!!  it's great having a president and ceo who communicates with retail shareholders... plus Peter owns approximately 50% of the outstanding shares, here is a president and ceo who has shareholders' best interests in mind as he is the biggest shareholder himself... Peter is the real deal, same here, I couldn't be happier investing with him too!!!
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 31, 2021 3:02pm
Sorry, but this is not the level that a CEO should go to. There are many more ways to handle it better than worse. Hopefully Cathie does not see this kind of stuff.
Comment by Gottofly on Jan 31, 2021 3:14pm
Agreed, a response of that nature disappoints me. Peter should be too busy to bother responding to the likes of Olderguy. In fact it is time he hands Agoracom over to someone else. I would suggest the time he spends on Agoracom would be better served taking his own advice of a walk in the sun, better to shore up his energy to expend on closing sales.

Olderguys sole purpose on these boards is to annoy everyone. He does a very good job at it. If he asked Peter some legitimate questions without being arrogant maybe he would deserve a different answer. He continuously downplays PYR/Peters efforts, even though PYR is well on its way to a double digit SP. What do you expect? Peter is human too.
Comment by DeepSilicon on Jan 31, 2021 3:40pm
Elon Musk does the same type of thing. This is the future CEO. No longer are CEOs too scared to speak to the public. Haters gonna hate? I appreciate PPP standing up for the company.
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 31, 2021 3:45pm
Nobody is saying that he should not stand up to the company, nobody is saying that he should be scared to speak to the public. If you can't see that, this discussion will go nowhere. I think the silent majority knows exactly what I am saying, and what I am saying is for the good of the company, not to its detriment.
Comment by DeepSilicon on Jan 31, 2021 3:47pm
What a twisty response that adds nothing to the convo other than to say you're wrong, without providing any additional info other than saying you're wrong.
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 31, 2021 3:53pm
You want a direct answer? I would have been slapped at the back of the head by my old man if I responded to someone in that way, no matter how the other person started a discussion.
Comment by DeepSilicon on Jan 31, 2021 3:56pm
It's the current year. Times are changing. PPP is being like Elon instead of silent. Go fish.
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 31, 2021 4:00pm
Yes, times are changing. Bullying is unaccepted. Mental health is a sensitive issue. I am old enough to see the evolution.

Who is deepsilicon. He joined SH yesterday. Another alias of someone?
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 31, 2021 4:10pm
Could be, but I don't care. It is not who he is, it is what he says. Trying to convince us that the world has changed that all of us can go in our social or professional circles speaking our minds and using words without filters. And when there is a negative reaction, cite Elon as an example? I would love to see him go to his boss and tell him to take a chill pill or something like that when ...more

Take a chill pill? You got upset about free speech against a known short troll, and stigamitzed it as an atttack on the mentally ill? Okay bud. I thought we were talking about Pyro.
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 31, 2021 4:20pm
I am done with this. Perhaps read the thread to understand what I am saying before you take soundbites and spin them out of context. I think the majority of the readers understand it clearly and it is not about a CEO not addressing those that try to cast the company in a negative light unfairly even though it may not be the best use of their time given the amount of social forums available and ...more
Comment by DeepSilicon on Jan 31, 2021 4:23pm
I would bet the majority of readers would disagree with you, except, except Aarman4.
Comment by DeepSilicon on Jan 31, 2021 4:07pm
Bullying is unaccepted.  You do realize that olderguy1 has been bashing and most likely shorting pyr, as well as spreading fake news and fear to get people to sell? Who is the bully, and when do you walk away from the encounter?   PPP is a sheepdog. Olderguy1 is a wolf. Thank god for PPP protecting us sheep, or Olderguy1 would run wild and scare everyone into selling through ...more

She has seen everything Elon Musk has said. Yet she's teslas biggest supporter. Maybe this is why people question you on here? Elon and Peter on the Joe Rogan podcast talking about shorts and haters. I'd pay good money for that entertainment.
Comment by DeepSilicon on Jan 31, 2021 3:44pm
Some of your posts are almost identical in nature to Aarman's. You are both pushing the same views in the last 2 days and you tagged eachother in a recent argument supporting each other's point of view, which was the same.
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 31, 2021 3:50pm
Sure, and if you go back some time, you will see where Aarman took shots at me and I fired back. If you cannot appreciate the freedom to have independent thoughts and that even when people disagree on some, they may agree on others, then over time you will get there. You need to do better and focus on the merits on the topic as opposed to first trying to figure out if there are some conspiracies ...more

You're openly trolling these boards, and when I asked you a question, you didn't provide an answer but said I'm wrong, for the sole reason that I disagreed with what you said. btw- I didn't say you were the same person. I'm not sure why you would assume I am saying you are the same person.
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 31, 2021 3:57pm
You are trying to pick a fight that you cannot win. If you want to win, then don't play coy, and post something after you are done "thinking" so that you are not leaving something open to interpretations, many of which are factually incorrect.
Comment by DeepSilicon on Jan 31, 2021 3:46pm
I forgot to respond to this. This is the level that a CEO should go to. Hopefully Cathie sees this and it reminds her of Elon Musk taking a stand before Tesla skyrocketed.
Comment by developbc on Jan 31, 2021 4:34pm
As a shareholder I sincerely appreciate Peter's response adding humour and wit to half wit comments...but at the very same time giving strong insight on why they choose not participate in that conference - they have other much  more significant economic opportunities that are definitely more amazing in addition to working on what's in the multi billion dollar pipeline. Sounds good to ...more

Hi Peter, Glad you agree that it is an amazing opportunity. It is a shame you are missing it.

LOL! A for effort, but you seriously need to learn when you have lost. Take the L and go crawl under a rock.

He's also mentioned multiple times that these companies are coming to him. We got the goods.
