IT'S A GOOD NEWS RELEASE

It's not the one everybody is waiting for but it does further confirm the relevance of the technology application for this particular industry.
Ignore the broken record bashers.  A good news release is a good news release.
Stay strong

Personally I ignore bashing and pumping.  This does not "confirm relevance".  That is the point of this agreement...to first explore whether there is practical relevance. And it is a broken record news release, potential new application to be explored.  I have lost a lot of money waiting for contracts that were supposed to be announced years ago. Facts.
Comment by Melida on Apr 24, 2024 11:00am
Why would you sell and not average down?  And it does confirm the relevance.  The engagement has to initiate itself this way.  The technology is getting reviewed by big iron ore company.  This company has already done enough DD.  It's not going to pursue a purchase strategy because the technology is irrelevant.  You're just being a negative Nellie, don't ...more

"Why would you sell and not average down?" This is a bot. The company's version of a paid pumper, sort of. It's unpaid, and it's never posted about any stock other than PyroGenesis, going all the way back to joining Stockhouse a few months ago.
Comment by Melida on Apr 24, 2024 11:13am
Yep, that's me alright. A bot.  But as I've said before, it sure beats being a butt.
Comment by Mostlyserious on Apr 24, 2024 11:39am
Does confirm the relevance?  NR:  "..signed a small contract with one of the five largest steelmakers in the world to assess the applicability of PyroGenesis’ fully electric plasma torches for use in the client’s manufacturing facilities as a primary heat source in the steelmaking process,..." Maybe it is my comprehension of the english language that distinquished between ...more

In order to lose a ton of money did you sell all your shares?  If that's the case you may want to move on because the horse if dead.  If you still own some, where are you coming from at this point?   I have no problem whatsoever with my initial post this morning.  It's a good news release.  Pyro is relevant.  The engagement with this large steelmaker ...more

"The engagement with this large steelmaker doesn't start with a signed contract for the delivery of a boat load of torches. It starts with "assess the applicability," doesn't it?" You're not addressing the point here..."Melida". The point is that we've all seen announcements/pronouncements like this for literally years.  This company is ...more

Why are you responding to a bot?  And what's with putting my username in quotes?  What's the lousy innuendo?  While I've only been posting on this board for a few months, please refresh your memory by reviewing my initial posts in January.   I've owned Pyro for a long time.  While I share your frustration, I do not in any way, shape or form share your ...more

"Why am I responding to a bot? " Because people are reading your "posts" here and sucking it up, despite the obvious agenda. You're suggestion that people average down here is very revealing. Quite possibly the worst "advice". Bot, or not, if you don't like it, tough noogies.
Comment by Melida on Apr 24, 2024 2:42pm
TAMTAM with the BISHBASH BAMBAMS, I gave you a heads up last week.  You get skewered for your typically bad posts.  My comments about averaging down were specific to the poster I was responding to.  Don't misrepresent and generalyze my comments.  This poster indicated he had crystallized his big loses by selling his shares. Why did he do that? What terrible news did Pyro ...more

Melida, I think it is fair to say that as somebody that is now playing with "house money" as you admited, your view of PYR as an investment is likely skewed.  I don't think any professional investment advisor would recommend any of their clients buy PYR at this time. And there is one very simple and solid reason for that. Gamblers can throw money at anything, and there are ...more

Good cherry pick.  People put themselves into a position to play with the house money by being prudent.  You ran with the "house money" comment and turned it into a negative.  For me, "house money" when discussing stock market investing means you have protected your original capital investment by selling enough stock to recoup it and then putting it into less ...more

Are you saying that you'd be in the same mood had you lost most of your investment instead of now playing with profits?  I don't think anyone would buy that. Selling at $10 would have been leaving a lot of money on the table IF PYR had delivered on what it pretty well presented as a guarantee.  Remember those several torch contracts within 3 months when criticizing an analyst ...more

"You get skewered for your typically bad posts" Hahahahaha.  That's funny, I don't feel like I've been skewered at all, and my posts aren't bad, they're just very very bearish.  And they've been bang on for well over two years, Including correctly predicting the last TWO quarters within $100,000. Hahahahaha
Comment by Melida on Apr 24, 2024 3:41pm
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you indicated at one point you did not own any Pyro Stock.  Is that because you borrowed it?
Comment by Mostlyserious on Apr 24, 2024 3:59pm
You are wrong.  I never indicated that I did not own any PYR stock, I am a shareholder.  I stated that a number of times. Nice try but I sure wished I did not own any PYR stock and shorters (borrowing it) have and would have made a pile of money.  How's that for admitting that I was a fool?

The last trade numbers are inaccurate. That wasn't 10,000 at .47, it was 1000. That wasn't 35,000 at .48 at the open, it was 3,500. Doesn't really matter. They're obsolete now anyway.

Thanks! You're right on the ball today. What would be your point in posting if Pyro was obsolete?

Great response Melida.

Well said Melida and PyroGenesis is making some serious inroads with both the Steel and Iron Ore Pelletizing industries. Also, today's NR is the fourth item that has been completed/acted on from the recent Outlook section (from the year end financials). Keep up the great work Peter and Team!
