March 31,2008 Sedar ReportQuesterre's Annual Information Report states that -Upon Talisman earning in the entire block, Questerre will hold a 25% working interest and a 4 1/4% royalty. That works out to an equivilant 35% interest. Thanks Rocco
Now lets look at this again.
Questerre has 174,124,470 shares which puts their market cap at a shade under $700 million
Talisman has a farm-in agreement on 711,000 shares with Questerre wherein Questerre retains an equivilant 35% interest works out to an economic interest of approximately 250,000 acres with Talisman.
If Talisman was to purchase Questerre for there market cap today that would work out to $2,900 per net acre.
If Talisman was to purchase Questerre for $8.00 per share the buyout would still be under $6,000 per net acre owned in Talismn's play.
This does not include:
Additional 165,981 net acres in Quebec including Forest Oil Land
Bakken and Alberta projects with $20 million per year of cash flow
British Columbia projects in a hot shale area.
I may have to give credit to these other assets if the stock price keeps going up 50%+ a week
