Perceived manipulationThe company's statements are the problem. I think D thought he'd get a spike in the SP by saying we're going to the TSX sooner versus later. Yes, a transfer of stock took people by surprise, but I don't believe D & G weren't aware of what perceptions might be. Having 50 million shares appear on the market with 25-year timeline also does not sit well with investors. Share buyback hasn't happened. Talking of a dividend when you must know it's a long way off is perceived as a pump. Knowing the NASDAQ listing requirements, you can't possibly believe you're going to list very soon. I see a lot of upside potential to this stock, but perception rules the market, and it takes a lot of positive news and numbers to reverse that sentiment. If anyone appears on BNN and they or their fund owns the stock, the talk will be positive, but D & G have many people wondering, "What's the next surprise move?", or "Can I believe the company's forward looking statements?" Right now, the market feels two people are making a lot of money, and investors are wondering if they want to give them more.
