Rollercoaster ride this morning. The dark forces were at it
again! There was a swing of .50 cents from a day high early in the session of $9.25 to a low of $8.75, now recoving nicely. I don't believe this kind of manipulation will happen once Quipt moves to the TSX.
Look at VMD today with low volume is up again back to $12.40-$12.57.

Trader scum short first thing in the morning and hope for a plunging stock price. If not, they cover and try again tomorrow.

I don't think so ifsca. How does one warrant the risk of flipping for pennies with a stock that has this much pressure in the pipe. There are so many better flippers than this. I think there is some short covering going on here but for most part it's just normal bid ask competition in a low volume situation.

Thanks for your thoughts Gibbons. If the shorters have been invested for quite some time as some may have, it may take some effort on their part for them to exit their position. This may or may not explain completely what happen early in the trading session with the wild .50 price swing. IMHO.

Agreed the bid always opens down so that's the time to unload but in terms of actual number of shares that captured that it's not very many. If we had news on the TSX move the squeeze would be on. Actually The squeeze is on now it's just playing out in a larger window still enough time to capture early session dips but you certainly don't clear a lot of shares doing it that way.

I don't know how accurate this data is (I assume it is, but can't vouch for it), but it does suggest there is still some consistent shorting going on: QIPT - Short Interest - Quipt Home Medical Corp. (NASDAQ) Stock - Short Squeeze, Borrow Rates https://fintel.io/ss/us/qipt

I've never considered shorts to be the sharpest knives in the drawer. This would confirm it.
