with the upside potential the stock has

It's important to get a good price but it's more important to get the quantity you've targeted. If you want 5,000 shares buy them. A dime or two isn't going to make a difference but only buying half your target will.

People that quivel over a dime or two when buying stocks like PHM(VMD, QIPT) are bigger buffoons and dimwits than the people that short these.

If you're a trader and flipping in and out then a dime looks much bigger but there are so many better flippers out there than this company. Volume did not support the quick in and out that day trading needs. I don't see why anyone would waste their time on it. That's why I've never bought into the idea that it was day traders knocking share price around. No it's much more ...more

gibbonsj, todays trading I believe is validation of what you have been saying for quite sometime. This is savy institutional buying at its best, especially on the US side. GLTA.

P.S. another sign we just about always see in these same patterns, is how the stock price always comes off at the end of the trading session. It is frustrating no doubt. GLTA.

The way I interpreted trading was during long periods of extremely low volume during which time selling knockdown sharers into the bid was the theme. Then suddenly out of nowhere so to speak a swap for 100,000 shares followed by other swaps. It always left me wondering when did they acquire those shares? Generally speaking a very large portion of all trades must have been done by this small group.

I wouldn't call it manipulation though. There is real money behind it. There is an IR guy full time so I strongly believe he is doing an excellent job as there will be lots of calls coming in and his job is to promote the company. We are talking U S and Canadian investors mostly but probably investors from all over looking for a safe and profitable place to park money. Our IR guy has a lot to ...more

With the  fundamentals this company has and imho having the bulk of the shares in very strong hands the price can be moved up pretty efficiently if a trading group of some sort is on it. Quipt not too long ago was a penny stock that attracted probably some well to do and possibly unsavory characters. Some of them may  be long time shareholders. PHM had a lot of promotion in the old days ...more

Ya 99 you cant say D and G were stupid at all for sure. I have never felt put out by them in any way. They gave those of us with the foresight, a chance to load up a couple of VLCCs(very large crude carriers), with cheap stock and we enjoy the last laugh now, and Dalsin always did say these companies will be money makers. He was right. You just had to grab the bull by the horns when it was offered ...more

I think they believed their own b.s. as someone like B2B would say. Only in this case they were right on.
