RE:RE:The Gold Report interview with Bob Moriarity..Last I checked Barisan has over 1500 sq kms of ground in their concessions and a main road system runs through the project area. Why would they need to expand on that ??

The Barisan Porphyry Belt is located in Indonesia's Aceh Province. The Project consists of two contiguous license areas totalling 151,618 hectares. Barisan Gold has identified a 5x15 km corridor that encompasses six drill ready porphyry prospects, four of which have had historical drilling in the late 1990s by operators such as Rio Tinto/North who abandoned the region in 2000 due to civil unrest. In 2007, Barisan Gold's predecessor company, East Asia Minerals, acquired the Project following a peace agreement in the region.

These six porphyry prospects include:
  • Upper Tengkereng
  • Lower Tengkereng
  • Upper Ise Ise
  • Bahu
  • Middle Ise Ise
  • Lower Ise Ise
