RE: CDMA and W-ODFM ???I am fairly certain that OFDM is NOT covered
by Wi-LANs patent although I am not a lawyer. In fact as you can see below
Inventors Fattouche and Zaghoul include existing
prior art in their referenece list plus there are many OFDM patents connected to Lucent, Cisco,
Samsung and others (too many to mention).
I have to admit I only read the abstract and claims for their patent (I have job too) but it is the meothos in which they use OFDM not OFDM itself which is patented.
