Hi Thanks for answering part of that for me.
I guess my concern is about the overall thorugh
put of Wi-LAn's technology in an environment that
has many Bluetooth pico-nets interfering with
the data transfers. I know for a fact that the
Bluetooth devices will interfere with Wireless
LAN at 2.4 GHZ that is why Hiperlan (5 GHZ,
20-30 Mbits/s) is looking at 5 GHz to avoid this.
(and increase speed over the current 11 mbits/s)
Bluetooth proliferation is still about a year and a half away but if W-OFDM can actually avoid the
sledge-hammer effect of bluetooth's frequency hopping THEN Wi-LAN's technology is even more interesting.
