RE: WIN AND ROGERS.NET - PLEASE NOTE3G and 4G are very differnt animals. 3G is for Handheld Mobile devices
currently WOFDM is not. To compete with 3G, Wi-LAN would have to get get their complete solution down to a couple of uBGAs and at a cost of under $20.00 USD (to compete with Bluetooth it would haveto be under $5.00 usd) and lower their power consumption by a couple of orders of magnitude, move it on to a liscenced band that carriers own etc.., if people expect OFDM to move into the celluar phone market in the next 5+ years then you have invested in Wi-LAN for the wrong reasons.
Now if you invested in Wi-LAN because you want a chance to take part
in a broadband, high speed, wireless backbone network which once it
moves into 5 GHZ range (which Hatim said was on the road map) will
offer extreme speeds with no wires, and perhaps mobility for devices
like laptops etc the you have invested for the right reasons.
