(“AMD”) provide the following statement to inform the court of the status of the pending appeals from the PTAB’s Final Written Decision in IPR2019-01527 finding that claims 1, 9, 12, 24, and 25 of the ’526 Patent are unpatentable, and finding unasserted claims 2, 3, 5, 10, 11, 13–15, 17, and 21–23 of the ’526 Patent to have not been proven unpatentable. IPR2019-01527, Paper No. 26. Polaris appealed the Patent Trial and Appeal Board’s Final Written Decision finding claim 9 to be unpatentable over the asserted references to the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Polaris Innovations Limited v. Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., Case No. 21-1917. AMD cross-appealed. Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. v. Polaris Innovations Limited, Case No. 21-1958. The parties are in Case 1:18-cv-00555-LY Document 63 Filed 10/06/21 Page 1 of 2 -2- the process of briefing the consolidated appeals. Polaris filed its opening brief on August 27, 2021. D.I. 17. AMD’s response brief is due on November 5, 2021. The next status report will be in April 2022.
Regarding Collabo, Doc 55 says, the IPR request from AMD was denied.
So both these cases are working their was through the court. Don't expect an early resolution in court.
