50/50 chance of 110 million in 3 years (after jury trial and another CAFC).  Discounting back at 15% / yr isn't much.  You get $30 million present value.

Especially net of McKool smith fees.  They get 30% of the winnings.  The government takes 15% tax.  And remember the Polaris patents are a 40/40/20 model.  So the Polaris patents get revenue, but the lawyers and the client take 60% of the winnings.  Then the government takes 15% of what is left over.

It won't be much if they had a fact based discussion around the realities of another 3 years of fighting it out in Canada, US and Germany.  You are talking another $10-$20 million in legal fees a year as well.

We were all astonished that they signed with Motorola for peanuts.  

Could be another Motorola situation.  Then they issued debentures after the Motorola announcement.  Those b@stards.
