And we were all wrong about Motorola.  That should have been $50M, but they settled for maybe $5M.

The Doro, Unecto licenses will haunt Skippen in his nightmares.  

Never should have signed those as portfolio licenses.

Unfortunately, Apple made a strong case that using those licenses these patents at issue were worth 0.05/unit.  That is $10 million.  

The market spoke today.  They view it as a prudent decision.  Instead of spending 15-20 million a year to fight Apple to maybe get $10 million in 3 years, they settled.   

They tried to play it down by providing the most tenuous language possible... saying "specific consideration payable"

Take a look at the Samsung agreements or the Nvidia agreements.  They were very specific about license fees payable.  Never anything about a "specific consideration".  What is that anyways?  Everyone gets a free iPhone?  LOL
