Acquisition targets?
Not very clear to me what ITS market players could be candidates for QTRH to scoop up or merge with.
Easier for me to see a complementary partner to take out QTRH.
Consider we have two major assests now: IRD (ITS player), and Wi-Lan (IP etc).
Now consider RIM as possible suiter:
RIM has QNX - powering the automotive systems of cars all over the world; QTRH could add a slide of "mobility" / "ITS" to complement that QNX division that is just dangling off to the side of RIM.
QTHR has Wi-Lan -- and RIM continues to have a substantial IP patent portfolio for which the Wi-Lan unit would be very complementary to RIM (and a potential new profit centre).
Auto company wise for an interesting angle -- even Toyota has recently repositioned itself to move away from being a "car company" to being a "mobility company"
So I still have hard time finding the equivalent to what was a "Mosaid" to Wi-Lan a few years ago. What would be "an X" to QTRH right now? Lots of bigger companies in the ITS space, but hard to find a smaller unit in the ITS space --- I just don't know ITS well enough.
So I kind of like the RIM buys QTRH angle more if we're going to speculate on angles...

Something materially substantive is in the works. Who knows what it is and where the share price will consolidate to its expectation ..

I would love to see something done with Microvision. MVIS has approved a lot of new shares for an investor and it's not outside of QTRH's reach. The IP in AR/Lidar is going to boom and who better to monetize it.
