Strateguc review of Wilan! This is huge. Wow. Cabbie was the first to call this happening. Not gonna lie but I'm pretty pumped right now.

Whaler, why can't you see the board willingly doing a strategic review of Wilan? Once the Apple case outcome has certainty, the only way for Quarterhill to truly benefit from the ITS earnings rerating was to sell Wilan. My guess is that Quarterhill is announcing this strategic review prior to the Apple CAFC decision because there is already a party interested in acquiring some or all of Wilan.

Becasue Jim Skippen and Michel Fattouche built the company.  that being said, perhaps Wilan will be spun off as a private company for them to still be a part of. Maybe im wong. Either way, i find this news exciting. This is the biggest thing since the day the mosaid takover was announced in my opinion

They must have a lot of confidence in the ETC CEO. They hardly know him. This is a very quick move. They just acquired ETC and they're giving full control to him already. As suggested, this move had to have been discussed even before annoucing the acquisition.

Whaler, I have zero issues with the reorg, but think your "minor league" comment regarding Paul Hill is harsh and unwarranted.

all good. its my opinion. i think Paul has done a fantastic job. i think bret kidd is more inline with what Quarterhill needs and has more value interms of connections in the  industry.

Whaler, I agree with your comment on both Paul Hill and Bret Kidd.  I would add that Kidd's political connections could also play an important role in mapping QTRH's ongoing opportunities.

agreed. He is a great person to take this company to the next level. Baystreets probably pissed becasue they know this is going to Wallstreet...LOL

I expect that we are going to see changes to the board over the next year that complement the ITS focus.

Absolutely 100mil. Again, the bankers are now pulling the strings here. This is where you want to be as a shareholder.
